Mr Veysel Değirmenci, the precious,sweet nature man of Mount Erciyes called “True Legend Veysel Hodja” was born in a snowy day of February in 1957.
Veysel Hodja’s interest in skiing dates back to a very young age,when he was only 6 years old when he was with his family in Austria during his father duty as master in the STROLZ Orthopedic ski shoe factory in the ski resort of Voraberg Lech,Austria.
It is because of his irresistible passion in snow and skiing, he attend several cources and received numereous training in ski techniques in Austria and world named ski resorts in Europe including Italy and Switzerland.
During his 15 years in Austria, he crowned his experience with instructor cources in several ski centers in Europe and Alpine Mountains where he developed his experience especially on icy slopes and high altitude skiing branches .
In 1982 he has returned in his home in Kayseri ,Turkiye , and start given indispensable ski training cources in Mount Erciyes.
During his training instructor career of 40 years in ski&Snowbard ; he has contributed to the enhance of countless skiers and snowboarders as well as bringing valuable champion skiers to the national ski team of Turkiye.
Upon special request of TRT (NationalTV) in2008 the special documentary film called “The Smell of the Earth” ; Mr.Değirmenci has found a great place in the hearts of Turkish people with his modest but hard working identity as “ Skier of Survivers”
Our True legent Veysel Hodja deserves our thanks with his Ski&Snowboard school founded on the endless slopes of Mount Erciyes where he has been supporting Ski &Snowboard lovers with his admirable and dedicative teams of instructors.
